The Idea

Meaningful Summers is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to providing a meaningful way for kids to spend their Summer. For the past two years Meaningful Summers has organized charity runs in Springbrook Prairie to support local and international charitable initiatives. Meaningful Summers is also active during the winter, with yearly visits to a local Nursing Home to play Christmas Tunes. After its founding in the Summer of 2013, Meaningful Summers has helped out a number of worthy causes such as The Northern Illinois Food Bank and Charity: Water.  For the Summer of 2015, we will be organizing a movie screening to view a documentary about a Pediatric AIDS orphanage called Blood Brothers. We urge you to sign up and support this worthy cause.
Note from Aditya:

Blood Brother was featured on PBS last year and I was deeply moved by the courage of the kids as well as the love Rocky showered on them. The movie had a profound impact on me. Simply put, it is an uplifting film showing the power of love. I decided at that time that this orphanage would be the cause we would support this summer.
